PM Modi lauds SAIL for achieving highest monthly Steel production
SAIL records monthly production of Hot Metal, Crude Steel, and Saleable Steel in history with 1.8 Million Tonnes (MT), 1.72 MT, and 1.61 MT, respectively.
New Delhi: The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has praised the Steel Authority of India Limited for achieving the highest monthly production of Hot Metal, Crude Steel, and Saleable Steel in history in January 2023.
Responding to a tweet by the Ministry of Steel, the Prime Minister tweeted;
“Encouraging news from a sector vital to India being Aatmanirbhar.”
The Steel PSU, SAIL records monthly production of Hot Metal, Crude Steel, and Saleable Steel in history with 1.8 Million Tonnes (MT), 1.72 MT, and 1.61 MT, respectively. Crude Steel production increased by 5.8% which is higher than previous records.
