NHPC Director Uttam Lal Meets Tripura Chief Secretary J K Sinha in Agartala

New Delhi, February 21, 2026: Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel) of NHPC Limited, called on J. K. Sinha, Chief Secretary of the Government of Tripura, in Agartala.

During the meeting, Director (Personnel) apprised the Chief Secretary of the status and progress of NHPC’s various projects in the Northeast region. The interaction was held as part of Shri Lal’s official visit to Agartala.

He was accompanied by Shri Naveen Kumar Jain, Executive Director (Human Resources), and Shri Sanjeev Kumar, General Manager (Public Relations) – Rajbhasha.

The Chief Secretary appreciated NHPC’s ongoing efforts in the renewable energy sector and acknowledged the company’s contribution toward strengthening energy infrastructure and supporting sustainable development in the region.

The meeting reaffirmed continued cooperation between NHPC and the Tripura state administration in advancing clean energy initiatives in the Northeast.
