Sanitisation continues in different parts of Steel Township of SAIL, RSP for containing spread of COVID-19
The Public Health unit of the Town Engineering Department of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) in association with the Fire Services Department has been actively engaged in cleaning and decontamination of public places.
Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has been taking all possible measures to combat and contain the Covid pandemic.
Rourkela: In line with the instructions and guidance of Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon'ble Union Minister of P & NG and Steel, SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has been taking all possible measures to combat and contain the Covid pandemic. The various initiatives in this direction include proactive sanitisation, communication drives, developing treatment facilities as well as augmenting tracing, testing and vaccination.
The Public Health unit of the Town Engineering Department of SAIL, Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) in association with the Fire Services Department has been actively engaged in cleaning and decontamination of public places.
On 28th April sanitisation was carried out at Ispat Haat, the popular vegetable market of the Steel Township. The ground, the platforms, the public toilets and the garbage bins were disinfected. The Fire Services Department has been utilizing all its resources including fire tenders and jetting machines to safeguard the public places of Steel Township by undertaking massive scale cleaning and sanitization on a war footing.
It may be noted that the market places witnessing a lot of public movements and hence RSP is making all out efforts for regular cleaning and sanitizing of these places so as to prevent the spread of the disease and to ensure health safety of its residents.
