SBI includes COVID-19 treatment under its insurance scheme
New Delhi: The State Bank of India is giving special treatment to its retired employees by including the treatment for Coronavirus under its medical insurance scheme. The bank is also providing other treatments for diseases like chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)/asthma under the same SBI Health Care scheme.
This insurance scheme is becoming so helpful for the employees in the wake of this coronavirus, giving relief to the employees to the existing employees also. While the number of diseases covered has gone up to 25 from 20.
Following the guidelines given by the government of India related to COVID-19 treatment at home, SBI also relying on this and decided to allow the expenditure on it for the member of the SBI Health Care Scheme.
