HPCL Bids Farewell to Rajesh Mehtani, Executive Director

Mumbai, 27 February 2026: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) respectfully bids farewell to Mr. Rajesh Mehtani, Executive Director (I/C) – Aviation, as he concludes an illustrious and impactful journey spanning 38 years with the Corporation.

Mr. Mehtani’s tenure has been defined by technical depth, operational agility, and strategic leadership across Operations, Retail Sales, Retail Engineering, and Aviation. He played a pivotal role in commissioning high-volume retail outlets across Gujarat and Chandigarh and made landmark contributions to the Fuel Farm business, notably through the Bhogapuram Fuel Farm project. Under his stewardship, HPCL crossed the 1 million MMT Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) sales mark in 2024-25, marking a significant milestone in the Corporation’s aviation operations.

Known for his integrity, composed leadership, and people-centric approach, Mr. Mehtani inspired teams across the organization and left a lasting impression on colleagues and stakeholders alike. His career reflects a seamless blend of operational excellence, strategic foresight, and a commitment to nation-building.
