Chhattisgarh: Shri S. K. Pal took charge of Director (Technical) at SECL today dated December 15, 2020, SECL's Board of Directors and other personnel congratulated Shri Pal.

Mr. S. K. PAL was the Regional General Manager of Gevra and Korba Region of SECL before assuming the responsibility of Director (Technical). He has the ability to complete complicated tasks easily, achieved many important achievements during his work. These include improving coal production and communication while working as Regional General Manager. Meanwhile, he has contributed to the establishment and upgrade of Silo in the Gevra region. The Korba region also achieved a special increase in coal production-productivity and communication during their tenure.

He is a specialist identifier in the coal area, who completed a Bachelor of Science (Engineering) in Mining, the year 1981 from NIT, Rourkela. Started his service in Coal India from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited in 1985 Later in November 2002, he was replaced in SECL.

In SECL, he contributed his special contribution to the Gevra and Korba region as well as Kusamunda and Johila region. General Manager at SECL Headquarters (C. M. C. He performed his tenure well as). During this time, he played an important role in adopting and expanding the e-tender system.

Mr. S. K. Pal has been awarded various awards for his outstanding work. This includes the Excellence Award for Security of Kanchan Opencast Project in 2007 especially during work in the Johila area.
