NEW DELHI- First in person workshop of the newly launched 'Partnership to Support an Accelerated Transition to Zero Emission Vehicles in India', was held under the chairmanship of Shri Suman Bery, Vice Chairman, NITI Aayog on 21st February 2023.
The workshop was attended by representatives of the Governments of India, the UK, and the US. On the occasion, Shri Sameer Pandita, Director, BEE spoke about initiatives taken by Ministry of Power, Government of India to create an affordable, reliable, safe, and accessible Public EVCharging Infrastructure in the country.
This workshop was the first important milestone for the partnership this year, and discussions were undertaken to shape up the way forward to the G20Summit, Clean Energy Ministerial and COP28.
