ACME Solar secures Rs 3,892 crore project funding for 400 MW FDRE Project from SBI. The project consists of installing a solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) to meet the supply obligations and ensure higher dispatchability as per the PPA conditions.

Gurugram, September 11, 2025: The wholly-owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings Ltd, ACME Venus Urja Private Ltd, has received long-term project financing of Rs 3,892 crore from State Bank of India (SBI) for the development and construction of a 400 MW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) project with repayment in 19 years.
This financing is expected to be significant and represents the company’s largest funding from SBI and also represents SBI’s first financing in ACME’s FDRE projects. The project will be developed in Barmer, Rajasthan, and is under contract with NHPC Ltd at a tariff of Rs 4.64/unit.
