SJVN Observes Vigilance Awareness Week 2025
SJVN is observing Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 from 27th October to 2nd November 2025 across all its Projects and Units, on the directives of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), under the guidance of Sh. Bhupender Gupta, CMD, SJVN.
New Delhi: SJVN is observing Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 from 27th October to 2nd November 2025 across all its Projects and Units, on the directives of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), under the guidance of Sh. Bhupender Gupta, CMD, SJVN.
Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), SJVN commenced the Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 at the Corporate Headquarters, Shimla, by administering the Integrity Pledge to the employees.
On this occasion, Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma said that observing Vigilance Awareness Week every year helps in creating awareness among employees and public, fostering greater sensitivity towards ethical conduct and upholding the highest standards of integrity and transparency in both personal and professional domains. He encouraged everyone to actively participate in the vigilance initiatives and join the collective fight against corruption.
On this occasion, Sh. Manmeet Gupta, Dy. CVO SJVN along with other senior officials were present. The Integrity Pledge was also administered to employees across various Projects and Units of SJVN.
SJVN is also conducting a three-month-long Vigilance Awareness Campaign from 18th August to 17th November 2025, focusing on various preventive vigilance measures. During Vigilance Awareness Week, various in-house and outreach activities such as capacity building sessions, quizzes, painting and rangoli competitions, walkathons, and declamation contests are being organized for employees, students and local communities across all Projects and Units of SJVN.
The objective of these programs is to promote awareness and spread the message of building a corruption-free India, thereby fostering national development through shared responsibility.
Vigilance Awareness Week is observed every year during the week of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birthday, honouring his legacy of integrity and nation-building. The theme for Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 is “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.”
