BEML Wins Rs 157 Crore Rail Machinery Order for Indian Railways
BEML has received a Rs 157 crore order from Loram Rail Maintenance India to supply Switch Rail Grinding Machines for Indian Railways track maintenance.
New Delhi: BEML Limited has announced that it has secured a new order worth Rs 157 crore for the manufacturing of Switch Rail Grinding Machines. The order has been awarded by Loram Rail Maintenance India Private Limited, and the machines will be supplied to Indian Railways for track maintenance activities.
The company disclosed this development on 4 December 2025 through a regulatory filing, in accordance with Regulation 30 of SEBI’s Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements. BEML confirmed that the order has been received in the normal course of business.
Switch Rail Grinding Machines play a crucial role in improving track quality, enhancing safety, and ensuring smoother railway operations. Their induction into the Indian Railways maintenance fleet is expected to strengthen track reliability and reduce operational disruptions.
