New Delhi, February 21, 2026: Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has informed stock exchanges about a court order directing attachment of funds amounting to ₹55.84 crore in one of its bank accounts at Visakhapatnam.

The disclosure was made under Regulation 30(4) of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

 

Details of the Case

The matter arises from an execution petition filed by Indwell Construction Pvt. Ltd. before the Commercial Court, Visakhapatnam.

As per the order dated February 20, 2026, the court has directed attachment of ₹55.84 crore lying in one of BHEL’s bank accounts at Visakhapatnam.

 

Company’s Response

BHEL has stated that it is currently examining the order and is taking appropriate legal steps. The company will avail all remedies available under applicable law to safeguard its interests.
