Shri A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC virtually launched IP Telephone services across NHPC on 22.02.2022.
The launch ceremony was virtually attended by all functional Directors, CVO, Executive Directors, Head of Projects / Power Stations.
This service provides Superior quality of sound and is cost effective. These IP phones will be functional even when Landline/ Mobile phones are not working.
With this initiative, NHPC will foray into era of Voice Communication technology.
Using this facility, Call can be made from Corporate Office using intercom telephone set to IP telephone set at Project / Power stations and Vice Versa.
In addition, Projects / Power stations can also make calls amongst themselves.
