The advanced system was formally inaugurated by Shri Atul Kumar, Chief General Manager, DDU, marking a major milestone in DFCCIL’s technology-driven transformation of freight operations.

New Delhi: The Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) has successfully installed its second AI-based Machine Vision Inspection System (MVIS) near the Karvandiya UP line under the DDU Unit. The advanced system was formally inaugurated by Shri Atul Kumar, Chief General Manager, DDU, marking a major milestone in DFCCIL’s technology-driven transformation of freight operations.

Developed by L2M, a startup incubated at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), the MVIS brings next-generation capabilities to rail asset monitoring and predictive maintenance.
