New Delhi: Engineers India Limited (EIL), in collaboration with GAIL (India) Limited, has achieved a major milestone with the successful commissioning of the 60 KTPA Polypropylene (PP) Project at GAIL’s Pata Petrochemical Complex. The commissioning marks a significant step forward in strengthening India’s rapidly expanding petrochemical ecosystem.
With the unit now operational, the plant will manufacture three new grades of polymer:

Impact Polymer

Co-Polymer
These grades are widely used across industries such as packaging, automotive components, consumer goods, infrastructure, and healthcare, enhancing domestic availability and reducing reliance on imports.
🔧 Integrated Commissioning Across Utilities and Infrastructure
The PP unit has been commissioned along with all associated utilities, offsite facilities, and seamless interconnections with the existing petrochemical complex at Pata. As part of the project scope:

A Nitrogen Plant has been commissioned to support safe and efficient operations

A Mounded Bullet storage facility has also been made operational, strengthening on-site storage and safety systems
