IndianOil's Saurabh Dutt Retires After 36+ Years

New Delhi: Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IndianOil) bid farewell to Mr. Saurabh Dutt, who retired after a distinguished career spanning over 36 years, marked by diverse contributions across multiple functions including HR, Operations, Alternative Energy, and Petrochemicals.

Leadership Roles and Contributions:

As Executive Director (Corporate Communications & Branding), Mr. Dutt steered corporate branding and integrated communication strategies, digital outreach, and stakeholder engagement, enhancing IndianOil's public presence and brand equity.

Petrochemicals and Supply Chain Excellence:

In the petrochemicals domain, he managed end-to-end supply chain operations across the national network, ensuring uninterrupted petrochemicals supply even during the critical times of the COVID-19 pandemic. He was a key member of the team that led the commissioning of IndianOil's first Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB) Terminal at Dumad and introduced the innovative Virtual Supply Location (VSL) model, revolutionizing supply chain efficiency.

Green Initiatives and Sustainability:

His contribution in setting up the first Green Polymer Terminal at Panipat and the complete solarisation of the Panipat Petrochemicals Marketing Complex stands as a testament to his commitment to sustainable practices. He played a prominent role in IndianOil's foray into Biofuels, a key business area in the company's journey of transition from a conventional oil company to an integrated energy company.

LPG Operations and Ujjwala Yojana:

Mr. Dutt also worked in LPG operations across Uttar Pradesh and played a paramount role in the rollout of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana from Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, contributing to the historic scheme that transformed millions of lives by providing clean cooking fuel to women from below poverty line households.
