New Delhi: On Thursday, Northern Coalfields Limited, under the aegis of its Vigilance Department, organized a comprehensive workshop on the Coal Mines Provident Fund (CMPF) Act and the Coal Mines Pension Scheme at its headquarters in Singrauli.

The workshop aimed to address practical challenges, clarify procedural interpretations, and strengthen compliance across operational units as part of NCL’s preventive and participative vigilance initiatives.

    • Shri B. Sairam, CMD, NCL, addressed the workshop virtually, appreciating the Vigilance Division for organizing the session.

    • Emphasized that social security measures must be continuously simplified and upgraded.

    • Referred to the current year as the “Year of Reforms” for Coal India Limited and NCL, expecting enhancements in the social security framework.

The workshop concluded with a welcome address and vote of thanks by Shri Prawesh Tripathi, General Manager (HR/CMPF), emphasizing the importance of employee welfare, vigilance, and procedural compliance.
