RITES Limited Recruitment 2026: Apply for Deputy/Joint General Manager & GGM (Mech) Posts

RITES Limited, a Navratna Enterprise of the Government of India, has issued a vacancy circular inviting applications for multiple senior-level mechanical positions on deputation or immediate absorption basis. The openings aim to strengthen RITES’ leadership in mechanical engineering and infrastructure services.

Key Vacancies:

1. Deputy General Manager / Joint General Manager (Mech)

   • Number of Posts: 3

   • Eligibility: IRSME officers at Senior Scale level (for DGM) or with 3 years’ Senior Scale service (for JGM)

   • Age Limit: 55 years for Immediate Absorption, 57 years for Deputation

   • Tenure: 3 years (extendable)

   • Pay Scale: 7th CPC Matrix Level-11 for DGM / Level-11 JGM

2. Group General Manager (Mech)

   • Number of Posts: 3

   • Eligibility: SAG/NFSAG/SG IRSME officers with 18 years of Group A service

   • Age Limit: 57 years

   • Tenure: 3 years (extendable)

   • Pay Scale: 7th CPC Matrix Level-13 or Level-14

Application Process:

• Applicants must apply online via the RITES Careers portal.

• After online registration, the system generates a Registration Number, which must be printed, signed, and attached with the application along with a detailed CV.

• Forwarded applications must include:

  • Last 5 years’ APARs

  • Vigilance / DAR clearance

  • Record of any penalties, if applicable

• Applications must be received within 45 days from the issue of the circular (i.e., by 12 April 2026).

Selection Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: 15–20 points

• Vigilance/DAR history: 10 points

• Performance in Service / APARs: 25 points

• Work Experience & Managerial Competency: 15–20 points

• Interview Performance: 50 points (for deputation posts)

Candidates must score a minimum of 60% (DGM/JGM) or 75% (GGM) to be considered for the merit list.

• Officers may be posted anywhere in India or abroad.

• Deputation allowances and other entitlements apply as per Ministry of Railways guidelines.
