NHPC aims at Rs 5,400 crore power sales in FY`16

NEW DELHI. NHPC aims to earn over Rs 5,400 crore through the sale of power. It targets generation of 22,000 million units in the current fiscal, 2015-16.

NHPC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Power for 2015-16. Under the preliminary pact, the company has a gross (power) sales target of Rs 5,439 crore, NHPC said in a regulatory filing to the stock exchange.
