NHPC Announces Senior Management Changes: Three Executives Retire, Three Promoted
NHPC Limited announced senior management changes effective October 1, 2025, with three executives retiring on superannuation and three long-serving professionals promoted to senior roles.
Faridabad: NHPC Limited, India's leading hydropower company, has announced important changes in its Senior Management Personnel (SMP). Three executives are retiring, and three new executives are being promoted. These changes take effect at the start of October 2025.
The company informed the stock exchanges (BSE and NSE) on October 1, 2025, about the changes, which are just below the Board of Directors.
Cessation on Superannuation
Three key Senior Management Personnel (SMP) left their positions on the afternoon of September 30, 2025, after reaching the retirement age:
Shri Hasan Nadeem
Shri Vishal Kumar Saini
Shri Sandeep Mittal
Appointments through Promotion
At the same time, NHPC has promoted three long-serving executives to the Senior Management level, starting from October 1, 2025:
Shri Pradip Kumar Ray holds a B.E. in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Finance. He joined NHPC on November 13, 1995, and has 29 years of service experience.
Shri Umesh Kumar Nand an executive with a B.E. in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, Shri Nand has also spent 29 years with the company, starting on November 13, 1995.
Shri Upendra Hajra holds a B.E. in Electrical Engineering and has been with NHPC for 29 years, also starting his service on November 13, 1995.
