New Delhi: Shri A.K. Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of National Hydroelectric Power Corporation met Sh Ram Madhav, Hon'ble Member Board of Governors, India Foundation & Member, National Executive, RSS in Leh, UT of Ladakh on October 4, 2021.
They discussed the various aspects of hydropower development. Shri Ram Madhav appreciated the efforts of NHPC for its contribution in Nation building through hydropower & also emphasized developing storage & pumped storage hydropower, solar power. He also suggested exploring newer business possibilities in neighbouring countries like Nepal & Sri Lanka.
He further stated that NHPC being a premier organization of the country in hydropower should take lead in creating fresh opportunities in neighbouring countries. Sh Madhav also assured necessary help to NHPC in its endeavours for development.
