NHPC declares 4th phase operational of 300 MW Karnisar Solar Power Project, Bikaner

State-owned NHPC Ltd announced that the 4th phase of part capacity of 53.57 MW of 300 MW Karnisar Solar Power Project, Bikaner is commercialized up to 214.28 MW with effect from 30th June, 2025.

According to the exchange filing, it is to inform that after successful completion of the trial run on 29.06.2025, NHPC declares the Commercial Operation Date (COD) of 4th phase of part capacity of 53.57 MW w.e.f. 30.06.2025 of 300 MW Karnisar Solar Power Project, Bikaner.

The cumulative commercial operation capacity of above project has reached to 214.28 MW out of total 300 MW. The COD of balance part capacity will be intimated in due course.

Further, in a separate filing the company has informed that clearance from National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA) is awaited for commercial operation of 3 units (250 MW each) of Subansiri Lower HE Project (2000 MW).

Shares of NHPC Ltd are trading down by 0.70% at Rs 85.21 at BSE.
