NHPC Issues Tender for 164 KW Micro Hydro Project at Parbati-III
New Delhi: NHPC Limited, a Government of India Navratna enterprise, has issued an open e-tender for the development of a 164 KW (2×82 KW) Micro Hydro Power Project at the Parbati-III Power Station.
The project will utilize mandatory environmental water flow from the dam site and will be implemented using cost-effective PAT (Pump As Turbine) technology. The estimated project cost is ₹4.29 crore.
The tender is being processed through the e-procurement system. Bid documents are available from January 2, 2026, and the last date for online submission is February 10, 2026. The technical bid opening is scheduled for February 18, 2026.
An EMD of ₹8.58 lakh is required, and the bid validity is 120 days. Eligible bidders must have prior experience in the design, supply, and commissioning of hydraulic turbines or PAT systems.
NHPC stated that the project supports clean energy generation while ensuring environmental protection and sustainable regional development.
