NHPC receives payment of Rs 734 crore from PFC Ltd
New Delhi: NHPC Limited recieved payment of Rs 734 crore from PFC Ltd in a major boost to realization of revenue during FY 2020-21 on December 14, 2020 on account of Energy dues (Rs 673 crore approx.) and dues of Power Trading Wing (Rs 61 crore approx.) of Jammu & Kashmir Power Corporation Ltd (IKPCL erstwhile JKPDD). The payment will reduce outstanding dues of KPCL.
The revenue realization has been received as part of "Special Long-term Transition Loan to DISCOMs in exemption of UDAY (Ujwal DISCOM Assurance Yojana) Limit of Government of India.
