Parliamentary Committee Reviews Rajbhasha Implementation at NHPC

The Second Sub-Committee of the Parliamentary Committee on Official Language conducted an inspection of the Official Language implementation at NHPC Limited’s Corporate Headquarters, Faridabad, on January 19, 2026.

The inspection meeting was attended by NHPC Chairman and Managing Director, Shri Bhupendra Gupta, along with Director (Personnel) Shri Uttam Lal, Executive Director (Human Resources) Shri Naveen Kumar Jain, and General Manager (Public Relations & Official Language) Shri Sanjeev Kumar.

During the meeting, the Parliamentary Committee carried out a detailed review of the initiatives undertaken by NHPC for the effective implementation of Rajbhasha Hindi across the organisation.

Prior to the inspection meeting, the Committee members visited an Official Language Implementation Exhibition, which showcased NHPC’s various initiatives, achievements, and best practices in promoting the use of Hindi in official work.

During the course of the meeting, the Committee also released the latest issue of NHPC’s in-house magazine, ‘Rajbhasha Jyoti’.
