Power Grid gets official notification for its two major projects
New Delhi: State-owned Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd has announced that its two major projects have received official confirmation through a Notification on 5th June 2025. The company stated in its exchange filing.
This is to inform that project namely “Establishment of Fibre Optic Communication System in Western Region under Master Communication Plan (Additional Requirement)” has been commissioned with effect from 17th May, 2025, for which confirmation with respect to Notification for Commercial Operation (DOCO) has been received via email on 06th June, 2025, as per the filing said.

Further, the project namely “Transmission Network Expansion in Gujarat to increase ATC from ISTS, Part-C” has been commissioned with effect from 03rd April, 2025 for which Notification for Commercial Operation (DOCO) has been received on 05th June, 2025.
Shares of Power Grid are trading higher by 0.42% at Rs 295.50 at the BSE.
