Union Minister for Power and Housing & Urban Affairs, Shri Manohar Lal, chaired a review meeting with Power Finance Corporation (PFC) in New Delhi to assess its performance and future strategy.
Discussions focused on PFC’s strategic goals for FY2025, its contribution to power sector financing, and supporting capacity addition under the National Electricity Plan (NEP) 2032.

Power Finance Corporation (PFC) also apprised the Hon’ble Minister of its leadership role and readiness to finance renewable and non-fossil fuel-based power projects, reinforcing its commitment to India’s transition towards clean and sustainable energy.
The Minister stressed on enhance monitoring of stressed assets, and adopt alternative revival strategies before resorting to the NCLT route, emphasizing the importance of learning from past cases.
