RailTel Announces Senior Management Change Three Executive Directors Re-designated Effective January 10 2026

RailTel Corporation of India Limited has informed stock exchanges about a change in its senior management personnel following the re-designation of three executive directors, in compliance with SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

In a regulatory filing submitted to the National Stock Exchange of India and BSE Limited on Friday, the company stated that:

  • Dr. Sharad Sharma

  • Mr. Deepak Prakash Garg

  • Mr. Ramphool Chandel

have been re-designated from the position of Principal Executive Director, and consequently ceased to be part of the company’s Senior Management as defined under Regulation 16(1)(d) of the SEBI Listing Regulations, with effect from January 10, 2026.

Continued Association with RailTel

Despite the cessation from senior management classification, all three executives will continue their association with the company in new roles:

  • Dr. Sharad Sharma will serve as ED/TM/ADI/WR/RCIL

  • Mr. Deepak Prakash Garg will serve as ED/POM/NR/RCIL

  • Mr. Ramphool Chandel will serve as ED/TM/Jaipur/NR/RCIL

The company clarified that the change is solely due to re-designation and not due to resignation or termination.

Regulatory Compliance

RailTel stated that the disclosure has been made in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Regulations and the requirements laid out in SEBI’s Master Circular dated November 11, 2024.

The filing was signed by J. S. Marwah, Company Secretary & Compliance Officer of RailTel Corporation of India Limited.
