RECPDCL incorporates New Subsidiary in Sonbhadra District, UP

Robertsganj Power Transmission Limited has been incorporated as Wholly Owned Subsidiary of REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (“RECPDCL”- a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of REC Limited).

Therefore, the company is also a subsidiary company of REC Limited, in terms of the provisions of Section 2(87) of the Companies Act, 2013, as per the filing stated.

Robertsganj Power Transmission Limited has Authorized Capital of Rs 5.00 lakh and Paid up Capital of Rs 5.00 lakh.

The Ministry of Power via Gazette Notification dated March 19, 2025 had allocated one inter-state transmission project, in which REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) has been appointed to act as Bid Process Coordinator (BPC) for the purpose of selection of Bidder for Establishment of Transmission system for Evacuation of Power from Pumped storage Projects in Sonbhadra District, Uttar Pradesh.

In view of the above, Robertsganj Power Transmission Limited was incorporated on May 28, 2025. After selection of the successful bidder in accordance with the Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) guidelines, said company would be transferred to the successful bidder along with all assets & liabilities.

The Company has been incorporated for the Transmission System for Evacuation of Power from Pumped storage Projects in Sonbhadra District, Uttar Pradesh.
