Review meeting of NHPC 2000 MW Subansiri Lower Project
New Delhi: Shri Chowna Mein, Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister, Arunachal Pradesh, visited the 2000 MW NHPC Subansiri Lower Project on Sunday, February 6, 2022. A review meeting on the progress of construction activities of the project was also organized on the occasion.
Shri Tage Taki, Hon'ble Minister, Agriculture, Horticulture, AH&Veti, Dairy Development, Fisheries, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh, and other dignitaries from Hon'ble Govt. and people of Arunachal Pradesh were also present on the occasion.
Mr. A.K. Singh, CMD, NHPC, Shri Vishwajit Basu, Director (Projects), NHPC, Shri Vipin Gupta, Executive Director, Subansiri Lower Project, and other NHPC officials were also present.
Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister was apprised about the progress of works of Subansiri Lower Project. Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister expressed satisfaction and assured his full support to NHPC for early completion of the project. The upcoming projects of NHPC including 2880 MW Dibang, Multipurpose Project, and the recently allotted Kamle Hydroelectric Project (Subansiri Madhya Project) were also discussed.
