RVNL commissioned Kalaikunda yard

Kalaikunda: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) commissioned Kalaikunda yard with 165 routes, in the presence of DRM/KGP. This involved the major re-modeling of the yard. With this commissioning, NI of 4 stations (436 routes) of trunk route, covering 30 Km was completed. This work was completed 36 hrs before the time allotted for it. 

"Work went on smoothly as per plan. Challenges were overcome with hard work and determination. For the entire labour force of 1300 arranged for in the COVID period, accommodation, food, and sanitation facilities were provided," said RVNL.
