RVNL may call off its partnership with Turkish firm Tumas

New Delhi: The construction arm of the Ministry of Railways, Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) soon to break its partnership with Turkish Engineering Firm Tumas. Back in April 2024, a year ago both the companies have signed agreement for the infrastucture projects.

According to the multiple sources the company decided to scrap the agreement soon for not fulfilling the target and no such progress has been seen in 1 year since the agreement was signed.

It is stated that the project includes metros, railways, and other public transportation-related initiatives.

The company is still seeing option, and evaluating whether the agreement is needed or not. It can also affect the India-Turkey ties and collaboration while taking this step.

However, nothing has been confirmed from both the companies on this topic.
