SECI to Host Vendor Development Programme to Boost Women and SC/ST MSE Participation on GeM
The Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) will organise a Vendor Development Programme (VDP) cum Buyer–Seller Interaction Meet 2025–26 on January 22, 2026, aimed at strengthening engagement with Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) platform.
The programme, to be held in hybrid mode (physical and virtual), will focus on promoting the participation of women-owned enterprises, SC/ST entrepreneurs, and other eligible MSEs in SECI’s procurement ecosystem. The event is scheduled to begin at 3:00 PM IST.
According to SECI, the initiative is designed to increase outreach, help MSEs understand GeM registration and onboarding, and create awareness about procurement procedures, bidding opportunities, and policy benefits available on the GeM portal.
The physical session will take place at SECI’s office in East Kidwai Nagar, New Delhi, while virtual participation will be facilitated through Microsoft Teams. MSEs interested in supplying goods and services via GeM—especially enterprises led by women and SC/ST entrepreneurs—are encouraged to attend.
Interested participants can confirm their attendance by January 21, 2026, via email. SECI has advised stakeholders to regularly check its official website for any updates related to the programme.
