SECL Headquarters Bids Farewell to Three Retiring Employees
Bilaspur, 31 August 2026: South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) organised a heartfelt farewell ceremony today for three employees who retired from the company headquarters in Bilaspur.
The retiring employees — Shri Vivek Singh Chandel (Librarian, Human Resources Department), Shri Alok Kumar Jaiswal (Assistant Engineer, ENT Department) and Shri Jasper Karl (Senior DEO, Materials Management Department) — were honoured with shawls, coconuts and flower garlands in the CMD’s chamber. They were also handed cheques for their full retirement dues.
Later, a formal programme was held in the conference hall of the administrative building. Chief Vigilance Officer Shri Himanshu Jain was the chief guest. Departmental heads, trade union representatives, officers and staff attended the function.
Senior management appreciated the contribution and work skills of the retiring employees, saying their efforts had helped the company reach its present level of success. They assured that the contribution of the retiring personnel would always be remembered and wished them and their families a bright future.
The retiring employees expressed gratitude towards the company. They said SECL employees work with great dedication and always support one another.
Manager (Rajbhasha) Smt. Savita Nirmalkar conducted the programme and read out the profiles of the retiring employees.
