Shimla: SJVN Limited organised a meeting at its Corporate Headquarters in Shimla to deliberate on the implementation of the ‘Seva Sankalp Resolution’ across the organisation.

The resolution was read out to officials by Sh. Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), reaffirming the company’s commitment to adopting its guiding principles in day-to-day functioning.

Background of the Resolution

The ‘Seva Sankalp Resolution’ was adopted by the Union Cabinet under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi during its first Cabinet meeting held at Seva Teerth, the newly inaugurated Prime Minister’s Office, on February 24, 2026.

Emphasis on Citizen-Centric Governance

Addressing the gathering, Sh. Sharma stated that Seva Teerth symbolises a governance infrastructure built on dynamism, dedication and solution-oriented functioning. He emphasised that SJVN remains steadfast in upholding this spirit of service, with a focus on simplifying the life of the last person in the country.
