SJVN Invites Bids for Centrifugal Pump Casings at Rampur Hydro Project

New Delhi: Public sector power producer SJVN Limited has invited bids through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) for the supply of critical components required at its Rampur Hydro Power Station in Himachal Pradesh.

The tender (Bid No. GEM/2025/B/7054477) pertains to the procurement of Lower Half Casing and Upper Half Casing for single-stage centrifugal pump 5823, with a total quantity of four units. The procurement is being handled by SJVN’s Contracts and Materials Department under the Ministry of Power.

The bid submission deadline is January 24, 2026 at 1:00 PM, with bid opening scheduled at 1:30 PM on the same day. The bid validity period is 120 days.

The contract follows a two-packet bidding process and will be evaluated on total value basis. The project delivery location is Rampur HPS, Bayal, District Kullu, Himachal Pradesh, with a delivery timeline of 84 days from award.

SJVN has specified an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹70,800, while the performance guarantee requirement is 5% of contract value for a period of 23 months. The procurement includes purchase preference for Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs), with up to 25% of order quantity reserved, provided eligible MSE bidders match the L1 price within the permitted margin.

The tender also requires submission of OEM authorization, certificates and technical documents as part of eligibility. No arbitration or mediation clause has been included.
