WCL Launches Swachhata Pakhwada with Cleanliness Pledge

WCL (Western Coalfields Limited) Today, the Swachhata Pakhwada, which will be run from 16th June to 30th June 2025 , was inaugurated with the Swachhata Shapath. At the headquarters, Chairman cum Managing Director of WCL, Shri J.P. Dwivedi read the Swachhata Shapath which was repeated by more than 200 employees present. Those present pledged to be conscious about cleanliness and to do Shramdaan for 100 hours every year i.e. 2 hours every week for this purpose .

On this occasion, Director Technical (Planning & Project and Operations) Shri Anandji Prasad , Director (Human Resources) Dr. Hemant Sharad Pandey and Chief Vigilance Officer Shri Ajay Madhukar Mhetre were specially present. Department heads , officers and employees were present in large numbers in the program .

This Swachhta Pakhwada will be celebrated in all the areas along with WCL headquarters. Various programs will be organized during the fortnight to create awareness about cleanliness. Sanitation workers were also honored on this occasion.
