WCL to organize two-day seminar on 'Coal Mine Safety in India' on 25-26th March 2025
This seminar will be attended by security, cyber security and legal experts from Coal India Limited and its subsidiaries as well as WCL officials related to this subject.
Nagpur: Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) is organizing a two-day seminar on “Coal Mine Safety in India” on 25-26th March 2025 at Hotel Centre Point, Ramdaspeth, Nagpur. This seminar will be attended by security, cyber security and legal experts from Coal India Limited and its subsidiaries as well as WCL officials related to this subject.
In this seminar, sessions have been organized on topics like security scenario in Coal India Limited, cyber security, legal and regulatory compliance, security best practices in Coal India Limited, technologically advanced monitoring for mines etc. Speakers will be Shri Brajesh Kumar Tripathi, CVO of Coal India Limited, Shri A.K., Senior Advisor (Security) Pateria, CVO of WCL Shri Ajay Madhukar Mhetre, General Managers and Heads of Departments of WCL and other subsidiary companies of Coal India Limited will speak in detail on various topics related to safety.
WCL CMD Shri J.P. Dwivedi and Director (Personnel) Dr. Hemant Sharad Pandey will be present as the Chief Guest at the inaugural ceremony on the first day of the seminar. Chairman of Coal India Limited Shri P.M. Prasad will address the inaugural ceremony through video conferencing.
