JSW Steel Announces ₹7.10 Per Share Dividend for FY26

New Delhi: JSW Steel Limited has informed shareholders about the tax deduction process applicable to the proposed dividend of ₹7.10 per equity share for FY2025-26. The dividend, recommended by the Board on May 14, 2026, is subject to approval at the company's 32nd Annual General Meeting. Shareholders holding shares as of the July 7, 2026 record date will be eligible to receive the payout.

The company said dividend income is taxable in the hands of shareholders under the Income-tax Act, 2025, and tax will be deducted at source wherever applicable. To facilitate the correct tax 

treatment, shareholders have been advised to update their PAN, Aadhaar, bank details and category information with their depository participants or registrar. Relevant declarations and exemption documents can be submitted through KFin Technologies' portal by July 13, 2026. Resident individual shareholders receiving aggregate dividends of up to ₹10,000 during FY2026-27 will not be subject to TDS, while other categories may avail lower or nil deduction subject to prescribed conditions.
