New Delhi: GAIL (India) Limited, a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking and a leading natural gas company in India, has launched a Special Recruitment Drive to fill backlog vacancies for candidates from Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes – Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).

Vacancy Details:

1. SC/ST/OBC(NCL) Drive:

15 backlog vacancies across 9 posts
Positions include Chief Manager (Law), Senior Officer (Finance & Accounts, Fire & Safety), and Senior Engineer roles in Electrical, GAILTEL, Boiler Operations, and Environmental Engineering.

2. PwBD Drive:

14 backlog vacancies across 12 posts
Positions include Senior Officer (Marketing, HR, Law, Medical Services) and Senior Engineer roles in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Civil, and other fields
Each post specifies suitable disability categories such as Blindness, Low Vision, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, and Locomotor Disability.

Application Fee: ₹200 for OBC(NCL); SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are exempt

Selection Process:

The selection may include Group Discussion, Interview, Skill Tests, or Physical Endurance Tests, depending on the post. Minimum qualifying marks are prescribed for different categories.

Pay & Benefits:

Grades: E-1 to E-5
Pay Scales: Rs. 50,000–1,60,000/- (E-1) to Rs. 90,000–2,40,000/- (E-5)
Other Benefits: Variable Dearness Allowance, Performance-Related Pay, Cafeteria Approach perks, company accommodation/HRA, medical facilities, Provident Fund, Gratuity, Pension, and other allowances.
