New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board has invited applications for the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) at National Research Development Corporation, a Schedule ‘C’ PSU under the Ministry of Science & Technology.

According to the official notification issued on May 21, 2026, the selected candidate will receive a pay scale of Rs 1.60 lakh to Rs 2.90 lakh (IDA).

NRDC, established in 1953, works in technology transfer, innovation commercialization, intellectual property management, and startup support. The corporation operates under the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR).

 

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be:

  • At least 40 years old
  • Working in a regular capacity in CPSEs, Central/State Government, PSBs, autonomous bodies, or eligible private sector companies
  • Engineering graduates, CAs, Cost Accountants, postgraduates, or MBA/PGDIM holders

Preference will be given to candidates with PhD or postgraduate engineering qualifications and experience in technology transfer, IP management, innovation ecosystems, or commercialization.

 

 

 

Experience Required

Candidates should have at least five years of experience during the last 10 years in:

  • Finance
  • Business Development
  • Operations
  • Marketing
  • Project Management
  • Production
