New Delhi: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has entered into a strategic partnership with Management Development Institute Gurgaon (MDI Gurgaon) to strengthen executive education and leadership development across the organization.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on May 20, 2026, at SAIL’s Corporate Office in New Delhi between SAIL’s Management Training Institute (MTI) and MDI Gurgaon.

 

Focus on Building Future-Ready Leaders

According to the official announcement, the collaboration aims to create customized executive education programmes focused on leadership development, strategic thinking, innovation, and business transformation for SAIL executives.

The partnership is designed to combine academic expertise with practical industry applications through:

  • Customized leadership development programmes

  • Strategy and innovation-driven learning interventions

  • Action learning projects for measurable business outcomes

  • Overseas learning programmes

  • Joint research and consulting initiatives

  • Industry-focused case studies tailored for SAIL executives

Senior Leadership Present During MoU Signing

The MoU was signed by Sanjay Dhar and Sumita Rai.

The signing ceremony took place in the presence of K. K. Singh along with senior executives from both SAIL and MDI Gurgaon.
