Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
-
BE/BTech in Electronics & Communication / IT / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics
OR -
MCA from a recognized institution

Central Government/Armed Forces/All India Services officers may be exempted if possessing relevant IT experience.
Experience
-
Central Govt/Armed Forces/All India Services: Senior-level management experience in large organizations with exposure to IT system design and implementation.
-
CPSE/SPSE/Private Sector: Minimum 20 years’ experience in IT/System Implementation, including at least 3 years at senior management level in the past 10 years.
Eligible Categories

CPSE executives in specified IDA pay scales
-
Joint Secretary level officers (or equivalent) in Government of India
-
Major General rank (or equivalent) in Armed Forces
-
Board-level or one-below Board-level executives in SPSE/Private Sector companies (₹1000 crore+ turnover)
Selection Process

Selection through Search-cum-Selection Committee (SCSC).

Applications to be sent through proper channel along with Vigilance clearance and APARs (last 5 years).

Private sector applicants must attach annual reports (last 3 years), proof of board-level position, turnover details, and qualification documents.
