Rajkot, January 16: Bank of Baroda has partnered as an Associate Sponsor for the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference and Exhibition – Kutch & Saurashtra 2026, held from January 11 to 15 at Marwadi University in Rajkot.

The conference, themed “Nomadic artistry, desert heritage, GI excellence,” was inaugurated by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on January 11, 2026.

 

Key Highlights:

  • Bank’s Participation: Bank of Baroda set up an interactive stall at the exhibition to engage with customers and showcase its initiatives aligned with Gujarat’s economic and cultural heritage.

  • Leadership Engagement: Shri Lal Singh, Executive Director, Bank of Baroda, along with Dr. Hasmukh Adhia, IAS (Retd.), former Non-Executive Chairman of the bank and former Finance Secretary to the Government of India, visited the bank’s stall and interacted with customers and stakeholders.

  • On-ground Presence: Senior officials including Shri Mukhtar Singh, General Manager and Zonal Head (Rajkot)Shri Ashwini Kumar, Convenor, SLBC Gujarat & Zonal Head (Ahmedabad), and Shri Sushil Kumar, Deputy General Manager (Business Development), along with bank staff, were present to facilitate engagements.
