New Delhi:The Government of India, Ministry of Railways, has approved the appointment of Shri Rajeev Kumar Mishra as Director (Way & Works) at Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. (KRCL), effective October 1, 2025, until his superannuation on August 31, 2028, or until further orders.

Shri Mishra will be headquartered in Navi Mumbai, the registered office of KRCL, and may be required to serve in any part of India as per the corporation’s discretion. His basic pay has been fixed at ₹2,40,250 per month in the IDA pay scale of ₹1,80,000–3,40,000, with eligibility for annual increments, dearness allowance, and performance-related payments.

In addition, Shri Mishra will be entitled to housing facilities, conveyance, leave benefits, corporate club memberships, and other allowances up to 35% of his basic pay. The appointment also outlines superannuation benefits, conduct and disciplinary rules, and post-retirement restrictions on joining private commercial entities.

This move aligns with KRCL’s focus on strengthening leadership and operational efficiency across its railway network along the Konkan coast.
