Bank of Maharashtra: 66 MSME Borrowers Get RBI Relief, Exposure Rs 671 Crore
Mumbai: Bank of Maharashtra on Tuesday informed stock exchanges that 66 MSME borrowers of the bank are eligible under the RBI Trade Relief Measures Directions, 2025, involving an exposure of Rs 671 crore.
The disclosure was made in response to queries raised during the bank’s earnings conference call for the financial performance of the quarter ended December 31, 2025.
According to the bank, the total amount of Rs 671 crore represents around 1.31 percent of its overall MSME loan portfolio. The bank provided the details to both the BSE and NSE through an official filing.
The management clarified that the information relates specifically to borrowers qualifying for relief under the RBI’s trade-related support framework for MSMEs announced in 2025.
Bank of Maharashtra continues to focus on strengthening its MSME lending segment while maintaining asset quality and regulatory compliance, the filing indicated.
