Mumbai:: Private sector lender ICICI Bank on Friday informed stock exchanges that it has allotted 7,65,234 equity shares under the ICICI Bank Employees Stock Option Scheme (ESOS) 2000.
According to the regulatory filing, the shares, having a face value of ₹2 each, were allotted on January 30, 2026. The allotment was approved by two Executive Directors of the bank at 10.35 a.m., in line with the powers delegated by the Board of Directors.
The delegation of authority for approving such allotments was granted by the Board at its meeting held on October 21, 2023, the bank said in its communication to BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE).
Following the allotment, the bank’s issued equity share capital stands increased to the extent of the shares issued under the employee stock option scheme. The ESOS is aimed at aligning employee interests with long-term shareholder value, ICICI Bank added.
