IDFC FIRST Bank Allots 25.94 Lakh Shares Under Employee Stock Option Scheme
Mumbai:: IDFC FIRST Bank Limited has approved the allotment of 25,94,143 equity shares under its Employee Stock Option Scheme (ESOS), according to a regulatory filing submitted to the stock exchanges on May 25, 2026.
The allotment was approved by the duly authorised Committee of the Board of Directors of the bank following the exercise of previously granted and vested stock options by eligible employees under the ‘IDFC FIRST Bank - ESOS’.
The newly allotted equity shares carry a face value of ₹10 each and will rank pari-passu with the existing equity shares of the bank in all respects.
Following this allotment, the issued and paid-up equity share capital of the bank has increased from ₹86,08,31,49,320 comprising 8,60,83,14,932 equity shares to ₹86,10,90,90,750 comprising 8,61,09,09,075 equity shares.
The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
The filing was submitted to both National Stock Exchange of India and BSE Limited.
Employee Stock Option Schemes are commonly used by companies to reward and retain employees by giving them an opportunity to participate in the company’s long-term growth through equity ownership.
