Narendra Ostawal Appointed Non-Executive Director at IDFC First Bank

Mumbai | December 20, 2025 IDFC First Bank Limited has appointed Mr. Narendra Ostawal as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director on its Board, effective December 20, 2025. The appointment was approved by shareholders through a postal ballot e-voting process.

Mr. Ostawal is the Managing Director at Warburg Pincus and leads its India investment advisory business. He joined Warburg Pincus in 2007 and has played a key role in the firm’s investments in India. Earlier, he worked with 3i India and McKinsey & Company.

He is a Chartered Accountant and holds an MBA from IIM Bangalore.

Mr. Ostawal also serves as a Non-Executive Director on the boards of IndiaFirst Life Insurance Company and Avanse Financial Services, and as an Executive Director at Warburg Pincus India Private Limited.
