New Delhi: Punjab National Bank (PNB) has formally announced the appointment of Shri Amit Kumar Srivastava as an Executive Director on the Bank's Board, effective November 24, 2025. This significant move was made public in a regulatory filing by the bank, confirming the government's notification.
Government Notification
The appointment was made by the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India, exercising its powers under the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970.
Shri Srivastava's term is for a period of three years from the date he assumes office, or until further orders, whichever occurs earlier. The official Notification No. is eF.No.4/4(i)/2024-BO.I, dated November 24, 2025.
Profile and Prior Role
Shri Srivastava brings a wealth of over 31 years of diversified banking experience to his new role. His extensive background spans critical areas including Branch Banking, Treasury Management, Risk Management, and Credit Review & Monitoring.
Before assuming the Executive Director's position, Shri Srivastava was serving as the Group Chief Risk Officer of Punjab National Bank, a position he will now relinquish. He has also previously headed the erstwhile Jodhpur Zone of PNB as the Zonal Manager.
