PNB Housing Finance Limited has informed stock exchanges that it has identified and declared a fraud involving one of its borrower accounts, in compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

In a disclosure filed under Regulations 30 and 51 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, the company stated that the fraud pertains to M/s Sarv Realtors Private Limited, involving an amount of ₹237.43 crore.

PNB Housing Finance clarified that the concerned account had already been written off in FY 2022–23. As a result, the fraud declaration does not have any material impact on the company’s financial position or operations.

The matter has been reported to the National Housing Bank (NHB) in line with regulatory norms. The company also confirmed that it is pursuing appropriate legal action against the borrower.

PNB Housing Finance emphasized that the disclosure has been made purely in compliance with statutory requirements.
